Each shelf is rated to hold 500 lbs of evenly distributed weight on the self-leveling feet (400lb TOTAL capacity with 4" wheels). 4" wheels allow the unit to be easily moved even when fully loaded. Shelves can be adjusted in 1" increments or removed entirely to allow space for larger items. Item weight is everything if you want your shelving to last.
