Maui Jim Mavericks Sunglasses, Gold (Open Box)

The units in this sale are being sold as open box condition. That means that they have been opened due to being a photo sample, a tested good customer return or having damaged packaging. Some non-essential items may be missing from the box. That is the reason for the reduced sale price and the reduced warranty.

Maui Jim Mavericks sunglasses are inspired by a popular surfing destination in Northern California in Pillar Point Harbor known for it's Hawaii-like 25 foot waves and winter invitation-only contest.

• Maui Evolution Lens: When you need an everyday lens for your active life, look to the lens that fuses the best properties of SuperThin glass and polycarbonate. Extremely lightweight. Scratch- and impact-resistant. Patented lens treatments bring the world's true colors to life. With the high-performance optics you need to keep up with your outdoor sports.
• 100% UV Protection, 99.9% glare protection
• Lens Color: HCL Bronze.  For everyday variable conditions, from full sun to overcast. Provides excellent contrast. Great if you love a warm, subtle bronze tint.
• Waterproof and Oleophobic Coating: Waterproof to shed water and snow. Oleophobic to repel grease and make smudges and fingerprints easier to wipe away. Applied to both sides of your lenses.
• Anti-Reflective Treatment: Blocks reflected light and annoying glare from behind to provide a clear view and eliminate eye fatigue.
• Clearshell scratch-resistant coating: A proprietary, silicone-based hard coat that protects your lenses. Glass is naturally scratch-resistant but MauiPure, Maui Evolution and polycarbonate lenses perform better longer with the added durability of our optically correct Clearshell. Applied to front and back of the lens.
• Polarizing Film: Eliminates reflected glare from any flat, smooth or shiny surface to give a cleaner, crisper view. Allows you to see below the surface of the water.
• Bi-Gradient Mirror: Adds protection against glare and UV from above and below by providing a reflective mirror at the top and bottom of the lens that squints for you
• MauiGradient: Features a darker coating at the top that gradually gets lighter moving down the lens. So an appropriate amount of light is allowed to filter through certain areas, while less in places where protection is paramount. This lens offers all the color boosting benefits of our PolarizedPlus2 technology, while eradicating 99% of glare and blocking 100% of harmful UV rays.
