COBI Roman Scorpio Building Set

Build a precision weapon for the Roman Empire! The Roman Scorpion from COBI will transport you straight to the battlefields of ancient times! Enter the world of ancient skirmishes, where every shot could decide the fate of the campaign. The Roman Scorpion set from the IMPERIUM ROMANUM series from COBI is a perfectly reproduced precision-guided machine, ready to fight Rome's enemies. What was a scorpion? A scorpion was a small machine used to fire projectiles resembling medieval crossbow bolts. It was extremely precise and effective, so enemies were often terrified by its presence on the battlefield. For a war machine, the scorpion was small and light, and therefore easy to transport - which is why each Roman legion had approximately 60 of them. Scorpions could be operated by a single person and were incredibly effective at close range. It was characterized by extremely high accuracy - hitting a man-sized target at about 100 meters, and from that distance, a projectile fired, approximately 1 meter long, penetrated shields or armor. Advantages of the Roman Scorpion set: High-quality workmanship - The set is characterized by high precision and attention to detail. Importantly, the set does not include traditional stickers, only high-quality prints, ensuring durability and a perfect appearance of the model for years to come. Mini diorama and other accessories - Additionally, the scorpion comes with a mini diorama, a Roman legionary and a barrel for javelins. All these accessories make the set attractive both for play and as a display, part of larger scenes and dioramas. Ideal for Young and Old - This set is perfect for younger modelers aged 8+, but also looks great on the shelf of a mature collector who wants a model of the iconic machine in their collection.
